After a brief start of term hiatus, Thinking Outside… is back with opportunities to for you to explore. First on the list is LEAPs – the Lothian Equal Access Programme for Schools.
For nearly 20 years LEAPS has been working with local high schools to help pupils learn about and access Higher education. LEAPS volunteers facilitate workshops for 14-17 year-olds in schools, the Campus Reporter for S3 pupils (13-14) and the S6 Conference (17-18).
LEAPS is now recruiting for volunteers. There will be 2 information evenings at the University of Edinburgh, October 9th and October 22nd.
Volunteers must be at year 2 or above at university but otherwise the programme welcomes UGs, PGs, international and mature students.
