Writing a CV from scratch can seem a daunting task.  Just you and a great, blank white page.  Where do you start? What do you put in? Leave out? What are employers looking for?  Luckily help is at hand.

A recent viewer of this 1 Minute CV Clinic exclaimed ” There’s so much I didn’t know about writing CVs!”  The CV in the video needs a bit of work to make it more effective and grab the attention of potential employers.  What changes would you make?

The Careers Service offers workshops and support throughout the year on all aspects of application process:

1. CVs and applications on our website – check out our CV podcast  if you’ve missed the workshops or want to refresh your memory
